One of the best hostel I ever stayed at. Really nice service, great room with private bathroom. Amazing breakfast and well decorated spaces. Went mid September and were almost completely alone. I definitely recommend it.

Amazing stay! Stayed in a private double room for a week and it was perfect. The location is near the city centre, the rooms and hostel areas are super clean, staff is very friendly and helpful and overall the design is very cool. The food is very nice including breakfast and beverages. Nice relaxing chilling areas to either rest or work. Would stay here again! Thank you

This is a must visit if you like sight seeing. This is known as the black temple. It is very unique and so much history to these temples. You will not be disappointed visiting this temple. Approximately 2-3 hours away from Chang Mai but you can book day tours with local. Well worth the visit here. Very warm here.

Quite an interesting museum. Not too large. The art is interesting and there's lots of phallic stuff, so yeah, heads up. I would've like it to have a bit more stuff. The place is nice and it's a good visit it just felt like it could've had more. Maybe having a more structured experience might also help because it wasn't very clear where to go or in what order and at some point I just found myself wondering what to do next.

Very unique place. I loved the traditional Lana architecture and modern buildings
Artist and architect definitely had his own vision. Black wood houses on a sunny day surrounded by all greenery look gorgeous.

For sensitive people the place maybe too much, there are lots of skins and leather furniture. I was told no animal was killed to get it, but I cannot confirm it.

Most building are closed to visit and you can only peek through the window.

Baan Dam Museum

The overall night bazaar experience is alright, but the food court is a real disappointment because it's such a waste of money and stomach space though. We bought quite a few dishes that isn't added to this review and only 2-3 dishes that are good and the rest are horrible. Imagine this: when you put the foods in your mouth, you tasted of what the dish should tasted like, but after your second or third bite then the flavor is all disappear. Majority of the dishes are only get a few bites then we don't go back for more.

This is the most famous night market in Chiang Mai city.  The items sold at Night Bazaar are mostly handicrafts and handmade goods of the Chiang Mai region in particular and the northern provinces of Thailand in general, such as silver carvings, traditional hand embroidery, carved wood.  notch….  The goods here are quite rich, diverse and most importantly, cheap.  However, a note for visitors when buying, remember to bargain the price.  Specifically, you should pay the price down from 20 to 30%

I recently visited the Chiang Rai Saturday Night Blazer and was blown away by the incredible selection of food, music, and shopping options available. The number of different food vendors was truly impressive, offering everything from traditional Thai dishes to international cuisine. The live music was also fantastic and added to the lively and festive atmosphere of the market.

But what really stood out to me were the clothing and accessory options. The market was full of vendors selling unique and beautiful items, from handcrafted jewelry to stylish clothing. I loved browsing the various stalls and ended up leaving with some great finds.

Overall, I would highly recommend the Chiang Rai Saturday Night Blazer to anyone visiting the area. It's a wonderful place to experience the local culture and try some delicious food, while also shopping for some truly special and unique items

Chiang Rai Night Bazaar

There is so much to see here!

Prepare for a lot of stairs and the best views ( don't worry you can still get the views as there is also a transport car going to the top).

So you'll love each and every of the 3 main buildings here.

Definitely worth a visit but bring a bottle if you're going on day time.

It’s equally as beautiful as the White and Blue Temples, the big Buddha and the dragons are massive. We only saw a couple of tourists visiting the temple, you can pay 40bath for lift to get to her head and have a wonderful view (before 6pm).

Wat Huay Pla Kang: Goddess of Mercy Chiang Rai

Beautiful temple in the middle of Chiang Rai. Nice n cool under the trees. Many things to learn about the Buddhist way of life (if you're interested in that).

Around 15 minutes on foot from the Golden Clock Tower, it houses a replica of the Emerald Buddha at Wat Phra Kaew of the Grand Place, Bangkok. Compared to the grandeur of the original one in Bangkok, I find this one more solemn and tranquil. It might be because it is smaller in scale. However, make no mistake as this one is mostly visited by people - either by their private cars or by big groups (in buses) everywhere. There is a museum at the left side and Chedi at the back area.

Beginning of Emerald Buddha Legend, Royal Temple, Buddha Museum. Located in the center of Chiangrai. A state of art created the Main temple where the Emerald Buddha stayed, Show the history of The famous Emerald Buddha Legendary on the temple wall. The side building is the Museum of Chiangrai Buddha and Antique. This is a must see place for those who travel to Chiangrai.

Wat Phra Kaew: Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Chiang Rai

The temple is spectacular, amazing, and beautiful, with its gleaming white exterior. Having visited many temples throughout Thailand and East Asia, I can confidently say that this is one of the must-see temples. The complex comprises several temples, some of which are white and some golden. The decorations are all crafted by a skilled artisan, and you can learn more about him in his studio, which is also located within the complex. In addition to the temples, there are well-maintained and stunning gardens, fountains, special photo corners, and breathtaking views. The building appears to have been recently renovated, as everything looks new and well-maintained. Be sure to stay for sunset, as it is spectacularly reflected in the lakes surrounding the temple.

Super beautiful fully white temple to visit.
It’s really worth a trip.
There are other small temples next to it, equally beautiful and to tour around.
Need to purchase ticket to go into the main building. Also to change clothes.
The journey to drive there is really long from Chiangmai, good to go with a tour. Avoid the efforts to put in on driving.

Visited with a tour.  There was virtually no line compared to pre-Covid and was able to take our time and not feel rushed.  Quite beautiful and many things to see.  There are many other structures and buildings to see around that area full of foreign cultural references. So if you can walk around and see how many recognizable pop culture references you can find.  Make sure to check out the restroom as it’s quite unique. Shops around the area are quite expensive so avoid if you can.

Wat Rong Khun - White Temple

Beautiful experience and not too many visitors. Come early!

The temple and grounds can be visited free of charge and it's from the same builder as the white temple.

You can spent 1 hour here so definitely a must visit when you visit the white temple.

The colours of blue are so deep and warm.

Very beautiful temple. Great photo ops. I’m personally a fan of more ancient temples. This one (as beautiful as it is) is designed with tourist in mind. With that said I still enjoyed it. And I highly recommend you pick up the coconut “blue” ice cream

One of my favourite temples in Thailand, beautiful blue and gold colours everywhere. Free to enter.
Recommend to go early morning because there is no shade and the ground/ floor is very hot when you have to remove your shoes. Don't go during midday or afternoon time. There's is food and coffee shops located outside the complex. Its a friendly welcoming place
