The hotel offers a bed and breakfast service.  There is no restaurant, bar or lounge.  The building formally was housing for local workers. The hotel is down a side street that doesn't look that inviting (see photograph) but don't be put off.

The hotel is within a ten minute walk from the bus station and Metro.  You can jump on a tram which is a five minute walk away.  There are two tram numbers (12 and 20) that will take you to Charles Bridge.

The hotel is lovely inside and has an element of character.  The building is now overlooked by a large office block and you can see it's staff working at desks as you can see in my photograph below.

The rooms have a small fridge with a mini bar.  Rooms also have a safe.  Our room was very clean and comfortable. There is a Court Yard in the centre of the building and some rooms have their own balcony.

The staff are very approachable and helpful. Reception is open 24/7 so if you are on a very late flight you can check-in with no arrival limit.

If visiting Prague again I would return to this hotel.

This is a ‘diamond’ of a hotel! Discreetly positioned on a quite night time side street in Smichov district near to the river but also very close to a tram stop and easy walking to the Metro station. No bar or restaurant but not needed, lots of ‘local’ eateries close by. Breakfast is a mix of continental and English with a touch of Czech! Staff are amazing, reception staff go above and beyond expectations. I’ve frequented this place for a number of years and despite needing some renovation it’s excellent in every way. 10/10 to all the staff.

Absolutely brilliant experience, from the moment we got there the gentleman on reception (whom it seemed never left his position) was polite, extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing seemed too much trouble for him to help. Air conditioning in the room was great, very little noise, the cleaning staff were great as were the breakfast selection and staff on hand. Genuinely can't think of anything bad about our stay. Already looking at booking to go back either later this year or a couple of times next year - loved it.

Amazing experience! 1h of pure relax :) Together with my boyfriend, we booked 1h in 1 tub (it is not too small for 2 person), best idea ever!!
The staff is super friendly. The free flow beer is very good (both light and dark beer) and the price of the experience is perfectly fine!
We will come back for sure :)

I went on my own and loved it! Great beer! Great bath! Warm beer/water, beer bread and I get to pour my own cold beer! 😃 Honestly thought for a girl that loves beer it'd be an amazing bachelorette or get together too! Everyone was super nice and then you're on your own, which is nice too!

Amazing experience, different to your usual spa. I booked online, 1hr for 2 people in one tub. You still get a private room!
Very friendly staff, free flowing light and dark beer, homemade beer bread. 1hr went pretty fast! Next time would choose at least 1.5hrs.

BEER SPA BEERLAND - První Tankové Pivní Lázně Praha

I am completely disappointed and feel ripped off by the show put on by this theater company. In first place it is evident that it is designed for theaters with up to 100 seats and in the country where I live they made it for a theater (Costa Rica, Teatro Melico Salazar) with a capacity for 2000 people. The scenery, lighting and costumes are mediocre and of a realy bad quality. It was not worth the 100 dollars of the ticket, is obvious that in their country of origin they dont charge that price, at most 25 dollars. Of course that if I travel to Prague it will be more expensive, but that is no the point. If a travel to prague I would have the opportunity to visit many places and not only the Shitlight of Prague of Jiri Snerc.

Fascinating experience: small theatre with the troupe providing heart & energy for the simple skits with a bare bones stage & props.  The description had said “multi media” - uh, no.  But we had an eye into how the Czech art community survived the Communist era & created entertainment during a repressive period.

It was all pantomime with universal themes, basically clean cut for all ages, altho their were a few adult jokes that most likely went over the heads of kids there.

Definitely worth the reasonable ticket price, and a good cultural experience.

When going here, be aware that it’s not a show with special effects! It’s the raw thing. Like it is supposed to be! An experience that looks old / dated when you are in 2020. Like time stood still. If you are aware of that, you can enjoy the show. Liked the first scene most (laundry) but had some good laughs during the whole show. Compliments for the total crew. It’s hard work! The location is dated and that’s charming.

Black Theater of Jiri Srnec

It's a historical cafe which is really beautiful. The cafe is always bustling with visitors, but you can find a place soon. Reservation is recommended if you don't want to wait. Had some coffee here, and it tasted great. They have a variety of dishes to offer, and the service staff were very warm. They also accept card payments (both in Euros and dollars)

Atmosphere was a little bit cold, it was very loud and crowded but we didn’t had to wait for our table for too long! :) Menu was big and everything arrived fast! Good presentation was nicely done too 🥐🥨 everything tasted absolutely delicious and prices were fair for such a famous place!! 😍

The quality of food you get here is sublime and that even for a very good price. This cafe has truly become one of my favourites in the world. Amazing vibe, good food, sublime service. I love the homemade lemonades. The dishes are a feast for the mouth and the desserts satisfy the soul.

Hot Breakfast buffet is cold.  I dunno if they turn on their warming machines?
Fairly basic typical selection of cheese and ham fruit bread.
Honestly unremarkable.....
Room was fine. TV kept turning off like had a timer? No idea. Sewerage smell in bathroom overnight.had to flush to clear it.
Ice bar on roof isn't part of hotel. Very small. Great views if that's your thing. Restaurant was busy and relatively expensive for Prague. Chose not to eat there but it looked good.
Come to take the photo from the outside, but stay? I'm sure there are much better options.

We choose this hotel 🏨 for the good location, is 10 minutes walk from Old Town, and because is a tourist attraction! The room was okay 👍, with a huge bathroom. We choose a room without a view (people complaining is noisy). Everything was okay 👍,  staff at the reception friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar is quite small and they don't have a great choice of drinks, but overall a good place to enjoy 😀 a drink and have a view of the city.  Definitely will go back  on future trips.

Amazing place to stay in Prague. Not only you get to stay in one of the most emblematic buildings of the city, but the service is amazing. They offer a welcome drink and access to the rooftop terrace. The breakfast is amazing and has a wide variety of options. The rooms are large, they offer all comodities, you also get a coffee machine and tea and fruit in the room.It definetively deserves the 4 stars it has, way more than other 4 stars-rated hotels in the city. You are close to the old town center and Vltava river, with unparalleled views towards Prague Castle and the other side of the river. Would highly reccomend.

Dancing House - Tančící dům hotel

Worth a visit, try and go early so there's no need to queue to take photos (I say queue, but most people don't and will just push in, so early means there's not too many folk around) there's a support of Ukraine poetry event at the wall which was interesting. It's a bright and bold wall which I'm glad we made a stop off at. Also, just round the corner is a beautiful waterwheel which you can see from a small bridge. It's a lovely wee area.

Artists and graffiti lovers should pay this place a visit ! Political views and many people are standing for good causes or matters there. You can read many letters full of good wishes for war victims too.

If you are a fan of John Lennon, then this is a must visit place when in Prague. The wall is lined with fan tributes, letters, writings, photos, wall art, and photos. There is a lot interesting content. One could literally spend hours looking through them all. There is even a section with writings to support Ukraine. Most of the content is in English, while some in other languages. Use Google Translate and you will be able to understand the other contents.

Muro di Lennon

Interactive, interesting for all ages, and colourful! Great mix of art, photography, and history, all based around the theme of optical illusions. Spent some time here playing around the exhibits and then taking in the views from the top floors. It’s based just off a major tourist square in Prague and directly opposite the Astronomical Clock. You get a great view from the window of the clock striking the hour, and at the top there’s a “tower”! Lots for kids to do and you can read as much or as little as you like (descriptions in Czech and English). Well worth a visit!

A very interesting and pleasant experience. If you want to be amazed by how easily your brain can be tricked this is the right place😅
Some scupltures are absolutely amazing and others are just a print on a canvas. Not so special but still interesting to see. You won't regret it

The museum is quite small and the price is quite high for what you get. You should come to a time with low amount of visitors otherwise there are selfie queues in front of the illusions which negatively influence the experience. The illusions itself are cool but not mind-blowing.

Very nice collection of old houses with exhibitions of the interiors of different decades. Very charming looking buildings.

The collection of armours and weapons inside the wall behind the houses is also quite impressive. Do remember to go here if you buy the ticket for the castle.

Feels a bit like Hogwarts for medieval fans. It's relatively small with a bit too many shops that you basically pay to visit, but the armours and  weapons displays are very elaborate, diverse and in a good shape. The torture displays and medieval towers with narrow doors and staircases also have a charm that makes the experience worth it.

Golden line, named after the goldsmiths who lived in the area. There is a fee, although the entrance is included in the entrance ticket to e.g. St. Vitus Cathedral. Small shops and old interiors behind glass. Not a wonderful place, because small old towns or parts of them can be found so widely all over Europe.

I've been wanting to visit Prague for a while now and finally I was able to seize the opportunity!
There would be so many things to see, but for those with limited time like me, a weekend in this city will be enough to fall in love with it!

Volevo visitare Praga già da un po' e finalmente sono riuscita a cogliere l'opportunità al volo! 
Ci sarebbero tantissime cose da vedere, ma per chi ha poco tempo a disposizione come me, un weekend in questa città sarà sufficiente per innamorarvene!
