We recently stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in March 2023.
My partner and I had previously visited Budapest and this time we wanted to stay in a very central location. We were not disappointed with the hotel's location, which was situated between St. Stephen's Basilica and the Hungarian Parliament.

The area around the hotel is undergoing beautiful modernization, and we found ourselves surrounded by restaurants and coffee shops, as well as being close to central shopping streets, opera, and theaters. We were also happy with the value that the hotel offered, especially after comparing it to other hotels in the same area where our friends were staying.

The hotel itself is very modern and our room was comfortable and smartly designed, providing us with ample space and facilities. However, our main disappointment was the lack of coffee-making facilities in the room. We are addicted to coffee and would have preferred the convenience of being able to make coffee in our room at all hours. Although coffee was available at the hub (lobby) at a low price, it was not as convenient as having it in our room. Additionally, the pillows provided were uncomfortable on the necks as they had no volume. Unfortunately, the first night was fully booked and we could not get additional pillows. However, the issue was resolved the following day.

Despite these minor issues, we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel's breakfast, which offered a great variety of food every day. Even though the offerings were practically the same each day, we still enjoyed it. Despite the hotel being full, it still felt relaxed, and we would definitely be happy to return to this hotel in the future, as long as the pricing level is maintained.

Very nice rooms and location. We stayed 4 days and we didn't need to take any transport to move.
The rooms are very nice and clean.
The breakfast is incredibly good, both in variety and quality.

I only found 3 drawbacks:
1. They don't offer any slippers in the rooms.
2. The pillows are very very soft and become thin when sleeping. They don't offer other choices.
3. Because of pillows being very soft, I asked for second pillow and only got it after requesting it 3 times.

Great location,  near both Christmas markets and shopping street. The room is very modern which is what most people want, But no way of making a drink which is very poor in today's world, and no Ironing board or Iron.   Breakfast was decent enough lots of choice. The place is new and modern

H2 Hotel Budapest

This interesting market is located at one end of Elizabeth Bridge. The building is fairly ornate, especially the roof.
It is built on two levels - the ground floor features fresh food in all its guises and the second floor features clothes, leather goods and lots more!
On the second floor there is also a fast food court featuring authentic street food - well recommended for a bite to eat.
You'll find souvenirs here will be much cheaper than the shops.
Definitely worth a visit.

A beautiful and large market, intended for visiting tourists. The place is clean, tidy. On the first floor there are lots of stalls selling meat / sausage and stalls selling mainly paprika souvenirs. On the second floor lots of amazing and unique souvenirs as well as fast and delicious food stalls.

An extremely beautiful market in Budapest.
Definitely a must visit for any tourist, especially to understand the culture better.
There is an area serving authentic Hungarian food - that was truly an experience I enjoyed. Don't forget to try the spicy Paprika and the Goulash. Incredible stuff.

Central Market Hall

Thermal baths in an old hotel, frequented by tourists and locals alike. We paid about EUR17 for entry.

The outdoor hot bath was full and the other one was being fixed. The wave pool was not switched on and was being used as a swimming pool.
Nice place for sun tanning in summer.

Indoor experience was much better - we enjoyed the hot and cold pools, steam rooms and showers - this experience made the tickets worthwhile.

The operators should consider disallowing shoes in locker room. Bring slippers or you will be stepping on dirty floors with wet feet. Lockers were provided free of charge.

The staff could also provide more directions when issuing the tickets, and were slightly impolitely chasing people out once it hit closing time.

Nice for a first time.

Truly stunning baths and equally stunning decor. Had many pools at different temperatures including a few cold water pools my favourite was the outdoor pool only one out of the two was in service as the other pool was under construction, there was a sauna with a cold water tub next to it. We’ll worth spending a few hours pampering yourself.

They did have massages and pedicures that were available and an on site cafe.

Wonderful place to relax on your holiday. The facilities are good, the water is great. Very clean overall. We spent around 5 hours and enjoyed all the pools that were open. Outside pool is the best place to be in winter with 36°C warm water. Sauna Outside was great as well. When inside, we spent most of the time in thermal pools to the right of the main pool. We found these were more beautiful to look at. There are two pools on each side, 36° and 40°. The cold water plung after steam room was another new experience for me 😬. But I enjoyed it and did it a few times 😃. At the time of our visit, the outside wave pool was closed. Do check before you plan if that is something you are interested in.

Gellért Thermal Bath

Wonderful architecture in Europe! It is Budapest's most recognizable building. From every angle, it appeared magnificent. Stunning location with trees, gardens, and of course historical landmarks. The architecture is huge and quite detailed. Stunning view of the entire building. Although I was unable to enter, I was able to appreciate it from the outside.

Budapest most famous building. Huge and amazing Parliament with a stunning architecture. Unfortunately we were unable to get inside, therefore I recommend buying tickets online well before you decide to visit the Parliament. Worth a visit and definitely you can take some amazing pictures here.
