We had an amazing time! Loved the tour of the winery and the vineyard. The tasting was the best tasting I have ever experienced. The wine and food pairing was perfect.  Tommaso was incredibly knowledgeable and was a great host. I would highly recommend making time for a visit to Donnafugata while in Sicily.

Highly recommended! What fine wines Donnafugata has and what an exceptional wine tour. The romantic story and the beautiful labels on the bottles (true art). Tommaso is a true wine connoisseur with extreme passion for his craft and knows how to entertain and get people excited about Donnafugata wines. This is the second time we have booked a wine tasting but that even the second time surpassed the first we did not expect. What a service and what genuine friendliness. Donnafugata Cantina Acate, Vittoria (RG)

A noble family home restored and maintained well. Views across the countryside . The rooms are set out and you feel as though you e stepped into another bygone world. Take time in the gardens, sit and eat a picnic there. Or go to eat good sicilian food at one of the restaurants outside. To get there take the train from Gela or Modica. Modica to Ragusa journey is a stunning ride in itself. Read the Leopard book beforehand as it's set here.

Absolutely the best day out. The castle and its grounds are stunning. The museum exhibiting fashion through the ages is truly fascinating. Great restaurants too, so no need to bring food but a picnic in the gorgeous gardens would also be ideal. Work up an appetite in the amazing stone maze, great fun. Excellent value for money, can't recommend this dazzling place highly enough.

Lovely museum! Some dresses were not outdated, still can be worn nowadays. The mirror in the middle of the museum makes you look really slim! Some parts on the wall looked 3d, but it's actually 2d!

There's parking, not free. Close to the parking, there's new gelato shops. Taste good!
