Very nice historical park. Ruins showed the interesting history. Nice to walk around and see everything. Ayutthaya area has so many temples,  Plus on the way in we saw the elephants with the tourists riding on top.  Enjoy!

Well worth the visit. It is the ruins of the ancient times and only some of the parts are reconstructed. I would recommend you to prepare sun protection cream, umbrella, water and more. It is really sunny and hot. Note that you won't get any grab ride on ayutthaya area. So, I would recommend to get a grab rental from Bangkok.

Amazing experience. I suggest first to upload AR smart heritage map to better understand about these place. There is a dress code long pants or long skirts, no bare shoulders and knees . Entrance fee of 50 Thai Batt , kids go free .

Ayutthaya Historical Park Office

Great market. Mostly food and mostly meat but very popular with locals. As a vegetarian I was so happy for this lady's stall (picture) selling two delicious vegetarian dishes (tofu and 'fried garlic chives cake'). I visited her stall every night I was here!

I found the Ayutthaya night market average. It has a nice vibe. Good to go once.

Most pictures on Google Maps seem to be of a different market. This is a small charming night market on a dirt patch right next to Wat Ratcha Burana. Less about shopping. The focus is on food, which is my kind of market! I had a really tasty duck noodle soup, pork rice salad and some mango sticky rice for dessert. All with a great view of the beautifully illuminated temple. If you're in Ayutthaya on the weekend, definitely recommend.
