If I could rate this a 0 I would. I had money stolen from my wallet which was inside my backpack in my locked hotel room. When brought to the attention of the reception staff they showed no empathy and said there was nothing they could do. I brought the police to them, although I did not get the money back, I believe the hotel received a fine.
I did not feel safe here at all.
There is no safe to lock your valuables, nor is there a fridge.
The hotel is next to a strip club and the workers have access to some of the rooms to bring their clients - walls are paper thin and can hear everything.
The bathroom also has a red light and there is a full length mirror behind the bed.
Be mindful the reception to check in is in another location (5 min walk away)
I would not recommend anyone stay here.

I would not recommend staying in this hotel. We had money go missing from our hotel room after the cleaner had been inside our room. The hotel is located next to a strip club and the workers have access to some of the rooms in which there is a red light in the bathroom, full length mirrors behind the bed and the walls are paper thin so you can hear everything they are doing! The reception is in a separate location 5 minutes away and they were not helpful at all when we reported that we had money go missing. There is no safe in the rooms and the wifi didn't work for us.

If I could of rated this ZERO stars I would have!

A basic 2 star, no fridge, no safe, half a shower door. No problems with noise. Good value breakfast. Note you have to go elsewhere to check in.

Hostal Cosy Rooms Embajador

Absolutely outstanding food and service. Traditional tapas but also some of their own take on dishes plus a few unique recipes. The smoked tuna and ham plus meat & cheese platter were outrageously good. The staff were first class, really friendly and so helpful with food and wine suggestions. A little off the beaten track but so worth it. Cannot fault the place. Highly recommend.

As the restaurant suggests, the  Mediterranean cuisine is quality. Nothing super special, but not disappointed!

Our waitress has a hard time serving all tables by herself, but nevertheless, we got our food and drinks perfectly on time (hat off to her hard work). The food here is original and very tasty. My son and I  had the mini burgers with figatell, the poached egg with truffle, and the canelones with chicken. I also had a glass of local wine and enjoyed it a lot. Please make a reservation before coming and you will not be disappointed.

ALENAR Bodega Mediterránea

It is acceptable to come because of the little architecture that they still maintain from the past era. But it was sad and disappointing to see how all the architecture and design of the houses and other buildings have been renovated and simply when you go it makes you sad as in a place where so many things happened that are history, they are already in the past and only the memory remains. of certain buildings that if they modernize there will be nothing left to appreciate, not a magnificent story to tell.

Very nice but too touristy. Few local people and expensive

It is always a charm to wander through this neighborhood.

Barrio del carmen

We were visiting València for 2 nights and decided we really wanted to visit Bioparc during our stay and it didn't disappoint. We arrived at the gate just after it opened (Wednesday) straight to the ticket desk - it costs around 26 euro to get inside but it's definitely worth it. It's beautiful, like a forest, it looks and feels so natural the way the park has been designed is amazing. There is lots of shade too from the trees and bushes which is so helpful in the heat of summer. The enclosures are big and lots of animals to see. We also sat at a cafe over looking one of the enclosures, it was nice to have a cold drink and watch all the wild animals go about their business. We also watched the bird show which was so well presented. We loved it. If you visit in summer do bring mosquito repellent! The park is nice but it's not big enough to make a day of it, a good 3-5 hours is sufficient depending how fast you walk around the park and if you watch the animal shows they have. I have to say it's one of the nicest zoos I've been too, so clean and beautiful. Great little gem in the heart of València ♥️

$30 per person. Great for any age. Like other European animal parks, big emphasis on animal welfare and minimal cages.

Favorite aspect:  was the cafe over looking the savannah animals; unexpected and peaceful. Recommend bringing camera!

Recommend to bring: Water! Snacks/outside food not permitted.

Conditions traveled: Season= October, Time: Soon after opening, Day: Week day, overall? Made for a great experience.

Me and my friend enjoyed this place so much. Animals seems well taken care off. It’s nice to see them from this close. The atmosphere is unbelievable, all the caves and decorations, loved it! Definitely would come here for second and even third time! 10/10!

Bioparc Valencia

It's strange to see such polarized reviews. I didn't have any high expectations, we ended up in this reastaurant by chance as we were hungry and the place we came to have lunch in nearby was closed. We were pleasantly surprised by the food - it was the best seafood paella I've eaten in Valencia and the Sangria was great, too - proper wine, a lot of fruits and water without gas - it was truely perfect.
The service was not great, but wasn't that terrible as depicted - it was ok. They spoke English and we didn't have any issues paying by card. They added 5 euro for 2 beers that we haven't ordered to our bill, but when we pointed this out, they returned those 5 euros to us.
I'd go again for the food and Sangria though - they were worth it :)

This place was a great find in the heart of Valencia! The seafood paella was amazing and my partner and I cleaned everything up. The service was so friendly and made our last night in Valencia very memorable with yummy tasting food. 10/10 recommend!!!

The food was good but the service was far from good. One of the forks on the table was dirty and when asked for replacement I was looked as asking something unkind. Of course, no apologies given. I also couldn't order a second beer and dessert for the kid as the waiter manged to ignore us for more than 30 minutes. Same with the bill - I had to go to the desk to get it paid. While we were eating a German group sat next to us, waited for 15-20 minutes to be served and then they simply left.
We sited inside and it was too noise. Outside sittings were also too narrow.

El Rall

One the greatest and enjoyable parks I’ve ever seen in my life. While it’s structure is massive and it gets quite tall, there’s not a single sharp edge on the structure, so it feels it very safe and enjoyable, both for kids and for adults. Consider to spend there at least 1 or 2 hours. It’s free of charge

We met here OUTSIDE of Gulliver Park for a meetup. There are nice picnic benches here. And I saw an other group also meeting up here. Lots of kids of course. I haven’t been inside the actual park. But I know it’s newly renovated.

Very interesting big playground, though I would not recommend it for small kids. Saw many kids burning their fingers on the slide, and they may easily fall from the playground as there is no fence on the top.
The entrance is free of charge.

Gulliver park

The building that hosts La Estrecha bar is the narrowest house in Europe and second narrowest in the world. Amazing! I'm not sure how people live there, but surely no king-size bed works in it.

This is one of the narrowest houses in Europe and in all of the world.
It’s a shame you can’t go inside of it, definitely worth checking out if you’re visiting Plaza Redonda since it’s right near it.

La Finca més Estreta d'Espanya

This is a world heritage site, and I'm not surprised. It takes you back in time. I have never seen a building like this before. The features are stunning. The history  have to be seen and heard via audio. We'll be worth the money and it does not take too long to see around the building. If you only have limited time to sea the hidden treasures of the city, this is a must.

Exceptional architecture and history in the centre of the beautiful city of Valencia. At 2 euros to visit it's well worth a look.

It was built between 1482 and 1533 as a merchant centre, it is a shining example of the pride this city takes in public architecture/services.

The trading hall with its amazing columns was the highlight for me. If you come to Valencia this UNESCO world heritage site is worth visiting!

The building has very nice architecture, it isn’t too big, it’s has a small courtyard and and lovely interior with a small chapel and some plaques on the walls, the designs and structure was beautiful as was the garden, I would recommend checking it out if your in the area.

La Lonja de la Seda de Valencia

The place in total was really cool, and we had great experiences there. They had everything from tropical fish, to birds to penguins! They also had a dolphin show, which happens every few hours, and that was white cool also, and they also translated everything. Which was good. It does take a long time to visit everything, and I would say you need at least 5 hours to visit everything. The tickets were quite expensive, as for everything, we ended up paying 170€ for 4 adults and 1 child. The food there was also very good, however it was slightly expensive too. Overall, the place was really cool, and I would recommend. But beware, we went here even when it wasn't the crowded season, and it was still pretty full, so you might want to buy tickets earlier, depending on what time of year you want to go.

Fab 4 hours spent here. Get there early for 10am opening, park at the centre but get a parking card before you leave to benefit from fixed 7 euro price. Exhibition was clear, exciting and very clean. Interesting seeing the fish, and other animals so close, and arrive 30 minutes early for the Dolphin show to get a good seat and enjoy the antics of the Dolphins before the show. Excellent for the family if you have young ones as there is plenty to keep them amused.

This is an amazing place in Valencia for adults and children alike. Be sure to book in advance as it can be quite busy on weekends and in the summer. This was not my first time and I feel like each time there is something new to see or appreciate.  There are several buildings, all by the architect Calatrava, and they are amazing. Parking is non-existent, so best to take public transportation.

L'Oceanogràfic

If you like food and drink then you will love this place. Traditional stalls  where you can get free samples before you buy. The building itself is Amazing. Fresh Meat seafood vegetables. Even buy a drink whilst looking around

Quite enjoyed the atmosphere! It’s a grand bazaar where you can find delicious food, tapas, chocolate, a wide range of drinks, souvenirs, bakeries and everything. Not just to take away but you can also grab a glass of Sangria or Vermut and taste handmade gourmet chocolates while doing some shopping. Totally a must-see!

Unbelievable experience!  Free entrance to marketplace that sells seafood, meat, vegetables, cured meat, and much more.

Give yourself at least an hour or two here  - there's that much to see and savour.  Very impressive selections of meat, seafood, and veg.

Toilets are at the back and downstairs. You ise your credit card to gain entrance - it was 1€ when we visited - be patient, machine takes it time.

Loads of opportunities for a meal inside or outside the market. An absolute must-see/-experience.  Compares well with the similar market in other places such as Budapest.

Mercado Central de Valencia

What an amazing time, lots to see, very beautiful architecture and buildings. The exhibitions were absolutely stunning, they are very impressive and informative. This is a great place for groups of all ages, lots to see and do. Very clean, staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, lots of places to eat and very nice gift shop. The price was very reasonable, would most definitely recommend this place to family and friends. We had a wonderful time and were glad we stopped by!

Amazing ambiance, amazing architecture. The prices are not exaggerated considering it's such a high traffic area. Even the bike and boat rental outside is reasonably priced. Fun for the whole family  highly recommended. I must advice to get tickets in advance that way you skip the line.

I had an incredible experience visiting the Ciencias de Art in Valencia. This architectural marvel left me in awe with its modern and futuristic design. The interactive exhibits and displays were captivating, providing a fascinating journey into the world of art and science. Museu de les Ciències Príncipe Felipe

It’s a very lovely building in a very nice plaza, surrounded by a lovely church and lots of delicious places to eat. There are lots of shops and stores in the area as well as museums to visit. Lots to do in this area, I would definitely recommend checking it out, great place to take photos, wasn’t too busy and was worth the trip.

First time witnessed this traditional spanish way of fight, it's sad and cruel but it's what people do whether publicly or in private.
The arena is nice and well maintained, looking outstanding from the outside.
And for the bullfighting visit one time is enough!

A piece of culture that may be seeing its last number of years.  The ring itself is beautiful,  well kept and you can feel the history when you walk in.   The bull fights themselves are definitely a personal item but no one can say that the bullfighters are fearful.   To walk into a ring and stare down,  goad and shake a finger at a 550kg animal bred to be aggressive is a testament to their bravery.

Plaça de Bous de València

Was a very lovely place with lots to do and see, there are several churches and museums in the area to visit and lots of delicious restaurants near by. Was worth stopping by and checking it out. I would recommend it if you’re in the area.

Beautiful spot to take pictures. During Las Fallas festivities, the city fills a huge Virgen de los Desamparados structure covered with flowers.

This is a lovely square to enjoy and walk around in Valencia. The Turia Fountain, the entrance to the Valencia Cathedral and multiple restaurants are all here. There was also free street entertainment when we visited. The house of Santiago Calatrava, a renowned Valencia architect is also visible from the square.

Plaça de la Verge

Right in the heart of the old city centre, this cathedral is absolutely beautiful. It costs to enter, but it's worth it. You get an audio device as part of the entrance fee. There are chapels surrounding the main altar piece that are worth exploring. My absolute favourite is the magnificent and highly decorative baroque altar. Staff are very friendly and I highly recommend visiting.

You have to visit the cathedral if you're in the city. It's a  bit pricey, and to go up the tower, they charge a supplement; but if the cost goes towards the upkeep of the building, fair enough.
They do include an audio tour, which is surprisingly good, and there's a great museum inside that has superb displays and access to the catacombs.

The Cathedral is truly magnificent and houses several items with a great historical significance. I enjoyed Goya's paintings as well as other artists' works. The architecture is also amazing.
I'm not happy about having to pay entrance fees for churches, a house of God should be accessible for everyone. At least the audio guide and the museum are included. We had the entrance fee covered by our 7 day Valencia Tourist Card.
